The 8th edition of the MARQ+65 programme gets under way
Programa diseñado por la Unidad de Didáctica, Club Llumiq, Accesibilidad y Responsabilidad Social de la Fundación MARQ.
For the eighth consecutive year, the Board Room of the Fundación CV MARQ is hosting the MARQ+65 programme, in collaboration with the ASAUTE (Aulas de la Tercera Edad de Alicante).
This programme, designed by the Didactics, Club Llumiq, Accessibility and Social Responsibility Unit of the MARQ Foundation, is related to social responsibility and contributes to cultural and social growth and intergenerational dialogue.
With the main objective of valuing the experience of the elderly and promoting interpersonal relationships and coexistence in their own city, the MARQ becomes a training space where our elders can learn about their closest heritage.
The MARQ +65 programme runs from October until June 2025, with weekly sessions involving 30 people who are given training sessions on the contents of the MARQ from Prehistory to the Modern and Contemporary Ages, the temporary exhibitions, the city of Alicante and the sites of La Illeta in El Campello and Lucentum in Albufereta.
A training for our elders that has led to the recognition at European level of the Didactics and Social Responsibility programmes promoted by the Diputación de Alicante through Fundación CV MARQ, with the presentation of the DASA 2024 award during the ceremony held on 5 October in Cyprus, organised annually by the European Academy of Museums, EMA.
