Rock Art in Alicante

By sponsoring the publication of this book on rock art in Alicante, the Banco de Alicante and the Fundación Banco Exterior de España are helping to disseminate the research and work carried out over the last eight years by Professor Mauro S. Hernández Pérez, Professor of Prehistory at the University of Alicante, with the valuable collaboration of the Centre d'Estudis Contestans de Cocentaina. Two members of the Centre, Pere Ferrer i Marset and Enrique Catalá Ferrer, and occasionally many others, have constituted, with Professor Mauro Hernández and some of his students from the University, an enthusiastic and dedicated team, capable of obtaining extraordinarily important results.
