AS bronze saiti
As de bronce de la ceca ibérica de Saiti (Xàtiva, Valencia). Tipo Vives 20-2.
Anverso anepígrafo con cabeza viril diademada a derecha con ínfulas. Detrás, palma.
Reverso con la inscripción ibérica SAITI y jinete lancero a derecha. Debajo, sobre línea, inscripción ibérica.
En los siglos II y I a.C muchas ciudades iberas y celtiberas emitieron monedas de plata y bronce con leyendas escritas en grafía ibera que se referían al nombre de la ciudad emisora. En la Contestania sólo acuñó moneda la ceca de Saiti (actual Xàtiva), y lo hizo a finales del siglo III a.C., a mediados y en la segunda mitad del siglo II y a mediados del siglo I a.C.
