AT EXPONADAL
For the new edition of the EXPONADAL children's and young people's leisure fair, the Club Llumiq stand will focus on Roman Culture, entitled "Romanorum Vita". This is a representation of daily life in a Roman street (such as Lucentum), showing the customs and events of everyday life, the most important facts and curiosities of that time.
The stand will be transformed into a multi-purpose space where different activities and demonstrations will take place:
-
- A day in a Roman street: daily life (domus, thermopolium, thermal baths and tabernae).
-
- Puppet show and theatre.
-
- Animus Atentus: representation of the Roman army.
-
- Exhibition of historical and archaeological reproductions.
-
- Roman games area.
-
- Workshop area and didactic exhibition.
The montage consists of a façade representing the entrance to a domus, the access to a baths, a tabernae and a public altar, all duly fitted out and represented as faithfully as possible, taking into account the context in which the project is framed (leisure and didactic). It will be possible to observe the typical graffiti of the time, the graffiti, the movement of people, the traders, the children,...
Access to the stand will be free, so that participants can enjoy the workshops and games area freely. All the activities are based on an active and participatory methodology so that the children themselves are the protagonists of the teaching-learning process, always framed in an atmosphere of leisure and entertainment.
The aim of this project is to bring archaeology closer to the family public, showing part of the MARQ's permanent exhibition and the great educational work that the museum carries out throughout the year.
From 26 December to 6 January
MARQ wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
