Conference at the MARQ for teachers

During the day, the teachers will get to know one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe: the HALLSTATT site. In this Austrian town there has been one of those exceptional circumstances that, from time to time, occur in the world of archaeology: the preservation of the remains of prehistoric mines, together with the organic materials found inside them, dating back more than 3,000 years. But in addition to the mine, Hallstatt is world famous for its exceptional early Iron Age cemetery, closely linked to the wealth produced by the exploitation and trade of salt.

They will understand the importance of salt in the province of Alicante thanks to the contents of the exhibition "Alicante: Land and Sea of Salt".

The start date of the course will be 17 June. Download the complete programme here
