More than 400 children are taking part in MARQ's programme of fun and educational activities this summer.

We conclude the programme of recreational and educational summer activities aimed at children. This initiative, developed through the Llumiq Club during the months of July and August, will culminate tomorrow. Friday at 18:00 hours with a great farewell party which will take place in the gardens of the museum and to which all the children who have participated in this cultural proposal are invited.

 The Member of Parliament for Culture Juan Bautista Roselló has pointed out that the success of this proposal, which this year reaches its ninth edition, has been demonstrated by the more than 400 young people aged between 6 and 14 who have attended the various theatre workshops, games, excursions and guided tours organised by the Alicante museum since 1 July..

 During tomorrow's event, to which the participants' families are also invited, the prizes will be awarded to the Best Children's Group and the Best Reproduction of Pieces.. In addition, the following will be awarded diplomas to all children.

The programme 'Summer at MARQ' is a meeting point for young people and adults where to explore,comment and discover various aspects related to the history of its past and the rico archaeological heritage of the province.

Through these weekly courses, the children have visited the permanent collection of the MARQ to discover the archaeology of Alicante from prehistoric times to the modern era and have enjoyed the contents of the new international exhibition "The Kingdom of Salt.7.000 years of Hallstatt history". The exhibition, which opened last June, brings to the public the secrets of the Hallstatt culture, a period that spanned the transition between the Bronze and Iron Ages and which developed in an area located in the north of Austria.    festive fm
