The Archaeological Museum of Alicante has organised a full programme of fun activities for the Easter holidays, especially for the youngest members of the family. In this way, the MARQ offers children the chance to enjoy and learn about history through a series of educational workshops related to the contents currently exhibited in the cultural centre.
This activity, aimed at children from between five and twelve yearswill be developed until next Friday 1 April from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Thanks to this original initiative, young people can discovering various aspects of heritage and the historical past of the province through material collections dating from prehistoric to contemporary times.
In addition, the Alicante museum offers people accompanying registered children the possibility of enjoying a guided tour at reduced cost for the temporary exhibitions currently on show at the centre "Cocentaina. Archaeology and Museums" and "Stone Guardians".
The Deputy for Culture, César Augusto AsencioHe took the opportunity to encourage all children to take part in these workshops, and reminded them that ".As part of the Easter Week activities programme, a few days ago the MARQ also organised a series of dramatised visits to the Illeta dels Banyets site in El Campello, a very successful proposal which this year has reached its fourth edition and which has attracted a large number of visitors.".
