The Marq's travelling exhibition "Light of Rome" arrives in Crevillent

The Member of Parliament for Culture and Education, César Augusto Asencio, yesterday inaugurated the travelling exhibition "Light of Rome" at the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Crevillent. This interesting initiative, organised by the MARQ, shows visitors 43 pieces of extraordinary beauty and has been enriched with a set of seven lamps from the Roman villa of La Canyada Joana, which form part of the Crevillent museum's collection. In addition, the proposal includes audiovisual, interactive and other accessibility and didactic elements that can be enjoyed until January 2018. The exhibition includes unusual metal and glass lamps, found in different parts of the province of Alicante, ranging from the Iberian period to late Roman times. 

The opening ceremony was also attended by the director of the archaeological museum of Crevillent, Julio Trelisthe technical director of MARQ, Manuel Olcinathe managing director of the MARQ Foundation, Josep Alberto Cortésthe curator of the exhibition, Anna García BarrachinaThe representative of the Banco Sabadell Foundation, Covadonga Bellóand the Councillor for Culture, Loreto Mallol. Finally, it should be noted that, as a new feature of this tour, educational guides have been published to complement the exhibition.
