A morning full of affection, emotion, memories and respect for the wisdom of our elders, undoubtedly their most valuable legacy.
The senior citizens' collective is an important part of the effort to make MARQ a "museum for everyone". In this sense, the CV-MARQ Foundation and the Cultural Association ASAUTE, Aulas de la Tercera Edad, are united in a collaboration project that, during this academic year 2017/18, has materialised with the implementation of two different programmes of activities. On the one hand, visits to the museum "MARQ +65", for the training of ASAUTE members. On the other hand, the Experiences IIIThe programme includes short storytelling and plastic expression.
Vivencias III is a competition that aims to rescue from memory the experiences of our elders through writing and artistic experience. The theme of the stories was memories related to life in Alicante, such as customs, trades and education... and the drawing and painting works focused on the MARQ. The result of this competition has been published in a magazine, which also aims to be a tribute to our elders.
