This new school year 2023/2024, our Educational Activities Guide, designed to immerse our Infant, Special Education, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate students, as well as other visitors, in a fascinating journey into the past.

With the main objective of providing the School Community with tools and resources to enrich the educational experience of our students during their visit to the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, MARQ. Discovering its permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions, to arouse curiosity and active learning, we propose a journey that begins in Prehistory and ends in the Modern and Contemporary Ages, accompanied by didactic workshops adapted to allow students to actively participate in games, stories, and to reproduce decorative elements of Iberian ceramics, looms or Roman mosaics, rock art, etc... We would also like to extend these experiences to our sites at Lucentum in Alicante, the Illeta in Campello, the Cova de l'Or in Beniarrés and the Pla de Petracos in Castell de Castells, as well as the monuments of the Almudaina Almohad Tower and the Cava Gran in Agres, owned by the Diputación de Alicante, which also form part of the educational offer that we put at your disposal for the knowledge of our valuable heritage. 

Not to mention, on this occasion, the magnificent international exhibition ".The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi'an"The exhibition will accompany us until 28 January 2024, presenting one of the most impressive finds in the history of archaeology, the Terracotta Warriors of Xi'anThe museum, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, offers guided tours and workshops adapted to each educational level.
