MARQ LIBRARY

The Archaeological Museum of Alicante has a library specialising in Archaeology, History, Art History, Museology and other auxiliary sciences related to the activity of the Archaeological Museum of Alicante.

Its collections and services are available to anyone interested in the subjects it covers, mainly teachers, researchers and students.

It currently comprises more than 42,000 volumes including monographs, serials, audiovisuals and a digital collection.

The entire library collection is available for consultation in the reading room. For this purpose, we have a room with 14 reading stations and access to the wifi network.

Since December 2021, the MARQ Library is part of the map of specialised libraries of the Library Cooperation Council and appears in the Directory of Spanish Libraries of the Ministry of Culture and Sport.

From March 2024 it will also be included in the Spanish Ministry of Culture's Collective Catalogue of Spanish Bibliographic Heritage.
