The Cabeço Pardo site is located 59 m above sea level, on a prominent elevation of the group known as Cabeços de los Ojales - a toponym no doubt derived from the various rock formations known in the area since ancient times and still mostly active until recently - along the crests of which the division of the municipal boundaries of San Isidro and Gran Isidro currently runs;antiguitat i encara actius majoritàriamentament fins fa poc de temps -Per les cimes del qual discorre actualment la divisòria dels termes municipals de San Isidro i la Granja de Rocamora, a Alacant.
Its recognition as an archaeological site dates back to the first years of the 20th century, when it seems that L. Siret, or more probably Pedro Flores or some of his sons, carried out archaeological excavations at the site, the result of which is a collection of ceramic, lithic and malacological objects that currently form part of the Siret collection that is kept and conserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid.........
