Yesterday the Marq experienced a real day of celebration to commemorate 9 October, the Day of the Valencian Community. There were many visitors who decided to dedicate this bright morning to visit the Museum and, of course, the temporary exhibition Mayas. The enigma of the lost citiesThe exhibition, which was completely full, registered a total of 1,211 visitors by the time it closed.
Many other Alicante residents and tourists visiting the Costa Blanca these days, 342, chose to visit the Ibero-Roman city of Lucentum and 337 others chose to visit the site of Illeta dels Banyets, in the municipality of El Campello. The Almohad Tower of Almudaina registered 19 visitors.
This Thursday 12 October, Columbus Day, the Marq, its archaeological sites and the Tower will be open again on Open Doors Day. The Marq, Lucentum and the Illeta, from 10h to 14h and the Tower, from 10h to 13h.
