The Chinese Ambassador visits the MARQ

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Spain, Lyu Fan, paid a private visit to MARQ this morning. The diplomat and his wife toured the temporary rooms of the exhibition. Iran. Cradle of CivilisationsThey were interested in the archaeological remains of our province, as well as the Museum's permanent collection, and expressed their desire to visit the technical areas of MARQ when they return to the city. Fan was also interested in the details of the exhibition of Xi'An terracottas that MARQ will prepare for November 2020. The ambassador was received by the managing director of the MARQ Foundation, José Alberto Cortés, by the technical director of the Museum, Manuel Olcina, and by the head of Exhibitions and Dissemination, Jorge Soler, and signed the book of honour before leaving the MARQ.

Lyu Fan gave a talk this morning at the Information Club entitled "The Belt and Road", focusing on the possibilities offered by the Silk Road in the 21st century.
