This capacity limit has been in force since Tuesday 26th January, both in the Museum and in the Tossal de Manises and La Illeta dels Banyets sites. In the Almudaina Tower, groups will be limited to two people except in the above cases, up to a maximum capacity of 4 people.

Visits to all the facilities of the Museum, Sites and Monuments under the management of the MARQ Foundation are carried out under the strict security measures implemented in the Covid Contingency Plan, which enabled the Museum to achieve the distinction of being prepared for the pandemic awarded by the Secretary of State for Tourism on 31st July, after passing the assessment of Advanced Good Practices for the reduction of the risk of contagion by the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus. In June 2020, the Museum, the Lucentum and Illeta archaeological sites and the Almudaina Tower were also awarded thehe 'Safe Tourism Certified' seal in Museums and Heritage Sites, a benchmark distinction in safe tourism issued by the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute ICTE. The Fundación C.V. This Contingency Plan includes measures and recommendations that include thermo-controlled access, a two-metre safety distance between people, the obligatory use of masks, hygiene elements such as hydroalcoholic gel dispensers and mats for disinfecting footwear, etc. Likewise, one-way visit itineraries, small guided groups and restricted seating capacity have been established, both in all the rooms of the Museum and in the sites and monuments.
