MARQ is committed to accessible tourism

The MARQ Foundation and the Alicante Association of Journalists and Tourism Writers, AAPET, have recently signed a collaboration agreement that aims to promote the dissemination of the activities carried out by the MARQ and, in return, offer these media professionals numerous advantages in access to the museum, the archaeological sites and the Almudaina Almohad tower.

Thanks to the agreement signed between the President of the MARQ, César Sánchez, and the President of AAPET, Cristina Arroyo, its members will be able to enjoy a 50% discount on the ordinary entrance fee to the MARQ, to the sites of Tossal de Manises and Illeta dels Banyets and the Almudaina Tower; they will also be able to organise meetings, conferences or courses in the Museum's Assembly Hall.

The Alicante Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers was founded in 1983 by a group of writers and journalists whose main objective was to promote the beauty of the Costa Blanca. AAPET and MARQ share the idea that Tourism is not a luxury activity, but a necessity, and that culture and leisure offer plural and affordable possibilities and should be accessible to all.
