The celebration this year 2023 at MARQ of the Nit en Blanc on 21 July will take place with the opening of the temporary and permanent galleries until midnight. The international exhibition "The Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi'an" as well as the permanent galleries of the MARQ can be visited free of charge from 4 p.m. to midnight. In addition, workshops and activities for families are planned in the museum gardens.
The programme directed by the Didactics and Accessibility Unit of the Fundación CV MARQ will begin at 4 p.m. in the temporary galleries with a playful proposal for the public. family which will have to find out, through a series of clues that can be found in the temporary exhibition "The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The Warriors of Xi'an", the true name of the First Emperor.
From 7 p.m. in the MARQ gardens, different educational workshops will be organised, which will lead participants to make everything from bookmarks to Chinese lanterns, as well as writing their names in Chinese calligraphy, and a drawing competition.
At 8 p.m., also in the gardens of the museum, there will be a dramatised visit, in which two charming characters, Yan and Ting, will explain the exhibition of the Warriors of Xi'an.
To take part in all these activities, free registration is required at the museum's ticket offices, until full capacity is reached.
