The MARQ Foundation has joined the initiative set up by the Asperger's Association Alicante-TEA ASPALI to commemorate the International Asperger Syndrome Day with the I Virtual Solidarity Race to be held between 12 and 21 February.
To take part in the race you need to buy a bib number which will be sent via email along with the app to download to your mobile phone for a donation of five euros. All proceeds will go to ASPALI and the needs of people with disabilities. Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
The First Vice-President and Member of Parliament for Culture, Julia ParraHe encouraged participation in the virtual call for entries. "With the support given by the MARQ to the solidarity race organised by ASPALI, we wanted to do our bit for to publicise the great work carried out by this association and to support its social awareness and fundraising work on such an important day."he said.
The race can be run in two modalities, walk and runningand can take place anywhere via mobile phone and app. In addition, a series of prizes have been established, both for the winners and by drawing lots among all participants. The MARQ Foundation will provide a free family admission to the Museum valid for one year.
The MARQ has been collaborating with ASPALI since 2013 in carrying out joint activities to promote actions that promote accessible culture for people with Asperger Syndrome.
