The MARQ Foundation's customer service team is applying the new health measures decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana to protect the health of the public in the face of the pandemic. Since its reopening on 9 June, its facilities have been meticulously prepared to ensure the safety of the centre's staff and visitors alike. The capacity of the guided and dramatised visits is maintained at 8 people, both in the museum and in the archaeological sites; in the Almudaina Tower, the maximum group allowed is 4 visitors.

Under the slogan "Your health is everyone's health", MARQ has developed a campaign in which it aims to raise awareness among workers and visitors of the need to be responsible and follow the rules that govern the current operation of the museum, with no positive cases having been recorded so far in its facilities or among its staff. These are simple measures, but necessary to continue guaranteeing the safety of those who visit us with the MARQ standards of quality and excellence. Among other measures, MARQ recommends staying at home if symptoms compatible with covid-19 are observed and planning the visit in advance through the museum's website. www.marqalicante.com or via the telephone information service 965 149 000; a "Thermo-controlled Zone" has been installed in the access area; maintenance of the interpersonal safety distance of 2 metres, obligatory use of personal protective equipment (mask), use of disinfection products (hydroalcoholic gel) located at the marked points before, during and after the visit; installation of a recommended itinerary, both for entering and leaving the museum, as well as in its interior routes, mats for the disinfection of footwear; capacity control in all the rooms, prohibition of the handling of tactile elements, screens and interactive panels, didactic trays and any other didactic tool that requires the use of hands are out of service. These rules are included in the centre's Contingency Plan, which earned it the COVID seal of guarantee from the ICTE "Safe Tourism Certified" and recognition from the Secretary of State for Tourism for advanced good practices in establishments prepared for COVID-19 of the SICTED.

The MARQ is a museum for everyone, so our staff attends to visitors with different abilities in all areas of the museum and the protective devices have been adapted for use by all users, including people who visit us in wheelchairs.

Since its reopening on 9 June, MARQ has been safely visited by 8,721 people, Lucentum by 1,758, the Illeta dels Banyets has registered 2,984 visitors and the Almudaina Tower has been visited by 521 people.
