MARQ promotes the Lucentum and Illeta dels Banyets archaeological sites with excursions for the whole family

       

 

         The Museum has programmed for this month of January various cultural activities aimed at the whole family and including proposals such as educational workshops, guided tours or excursions. Through these initiatives, we aim to promote the dissemination of its museum content, while at the same time awakening the curiosity of children to discover the history of their ancestors.

        The timetable foresees for the Sundays 12 and 26 January a tour which combines a visit to the museum with another at Illeta dels Banyets archaeological sitein El Campello. The Sunday 19The excursion will take place at to the MARQ and the archaeological park of Tossal de Manises. Those wishing to participate in any of these activities, aimed at the whole family, can obtain more information and register in advance through our website www.marqalicante.com. The organisers recommend wearing sports clothing and footwear, a hat, sun cream, sunglasses and a drink.

       Also this month, we continue with the educational workshops for children between 8 and 12 years old. This activity, which will take place on Saturdays 18 and 25 from 18:00 to 20:00 hourswill allow young people to learn while having fun playing.
 
         The programme includes the Wednesday 15 January at 10:00 a.m. a guided tour of the museum's Prehistory room given by a member of theDown Syndrome Association of Alicante. In addition, the Saturday 25 at 19:00 a guided tour by members of the project is planned. "MARQ guide for a day" and carried out in collaboration with the Association ASPALI -Asperger Alicante-.

        Finally, the Sunday 26th at 10:00 a.m. a cultural route through the Torres de la Huerta de Alicante will take place.
