MARQ offers a new programme of activities combining guided tours for adults and workshops for children.

The MARQ has designed a new calendar of cultural activities for this autumn, which combines guided tours for adults with educational workshops for children from 8 to 12 years old at reduced prices. Thus, on Saturday afternoons, the museum offers parents the chance to enjoy the contents of the centre while their children learn and have fun playing with clay, amber, felt or ceramics.

Through this proposal, which will be launched next year, the5 October at 18:00The aim is to disseminate the archaeological heritage of the province, as well as to arouse the curiosity of children to discover the history of their ancestors.

In addition, the Sunday 6 October at 10:00 a.m. will take place a walking tour between the MARQ and the Tossal de Manises site in the Roman city of Lucentum. The activity, aimed at the whole family, will also include a guided tour of the archaeological park. The return to the starting point can be made by TRAM, the ticket not being included in the activity.

The route, with a distance of six kilometres and a low difficultywill run through the Serra Grossa and the Alicante coastline. Participants must bring sports clothing and footwear, cap, sun cream, sunglasses and drink.

In order to facilitate the participation and organisation of both proposals, we ask for prior registration. Interested persons can obtain more information from www.marqalicante.comor in the tachographsillas del centro.
