The MARQ, Alfil Institution Award

The ADDA hosted last night the Alfil Awards 2018 gala, a ceremony in which the Advanced Tertiary Association wanted to recognise the work and innovative effort of different entities, companies, institutions and individuals who have stood out especially during this year. Among them was the MARQ, whose Foundation, directed by José Alberto Cortés, has been awarded the Alfil Institution, in recognition of the trajectory developed in visitor services to obtain the Q for Tourism Quality, being the first Spanish museum to achieve this certification in the UNE 302002. The Alfil was collected by the vice-president of the MARQ and deputy for culture and education, César Augusto Asencio, in an evening that was also attended by the museum's technical director, Manuel Olcina.

A very special night, this sixth edition of the Alfil Awards, as Terciario Avanzado has decided to bring back the awards in the year in which it commemorates its 20th anniversary. The last time these awards were presented was in 2011.
