MARQ will switch off to fight climate change

The Earth Hour initiative was born in 2007 in Sydney as a symbolic gesture and today is the largest environmental Movement in history and this 2018 aims to unite people and connect them with our planet and its nature # CONÉCTATE

The Provincial Council of Alicante and the MARQ are joining this great project and tomorrow Saturday they will turn off all the lights for one hour, from 20.30h to 21.30h to support the global fight against climate change.

Today, it is the largest celebration for the planet, which has spurred environmental commitments around the world, from protecting forests to creating marine protected areas and enacting climate-safe law for all.

The aim is that in every town and every city, houses and streets will be turned off for 60 minutes and social networks will be connected to demand energy policy changes from governments around the world.
