The Assembly Hall of the Paurides González Vidal Foundation, in Elda, will host from this Friday 30th November, the XVIII Seminar on Archaeology and History. This conference will allow us to reconstruct the way of life and ideas of the Iberian inhabitants of the southern lands of the southeast and east of the Spanish peninsula, through the interpretations that archaeologists and historians have made of the ceramic productions with pictorial decorations of the Iberian populations under the sovereignty of Rome between the 2nd century BC and 1st century BC.
On Saturday, at 10.30 a.m., the technical director of the MARQ, Manuel Olcina, and the archaeologists Antonio Guilabert and Eva Tendero, will give the talk "The decorated pottery of the Symbolic Style in the Tossal de Manises. Sequence and context".
In this edition, the Seminar will pay tribute to the researcher Ricardo Olmos, in recognition of his legacy.
