Organised by the Museum of History and Archaeology of Calpe, a group of more than 50 people travelled to Alicante yesterday to delve into the exciting history of our First Art, as told in detail in the exhibition Rupestrian. The First Sanctuaries which is on display at the MARQ until 5 January 2019. The Calpe expedition also visited El Campello in the morning to get to know La Illeta dels Banyets, an emblematic archaeological site in the Mediterranean owned by the Diputación de Alicante and managed by the MARQ.
