The exhibition 'The Warriors of Xi'an' exceeds 100,000 visits and breaks a new record at MARQ

The international exhibition "The Legacy of the Qin and Han Dynasties, China. The warriors of Xi'an". has passed the barrier of 100,000 visits barely four months after its inauguration at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante on 28 March.

Curated by Marcos Martinon-TorresProfessor of the University of Cambridge, and promoted by the Alicante Provincial CouncilThe exhibition shows the public more than 120 original pieces from 9 Chinese museums and institutions, including the Shaanxi Museum of History and the Museum of the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang. An exhibition that has brought to the public a new experience, guided by archaeological science and supported by an extraordinary collection of objects, many of which have never before been exhibited in Spain.

Created more than 2,000 years ago by order of the first emperor of China, Qin Shihuang, they maintain an interest and attraction of international repercussion that continues to this day. Recognised as the eighth wonder of the world, the exhibition can be visited at MARQ until 28 January 2024. It is currently open from 10:00 to 22:00 hours from Tuesday to Saturday and from 10:00 to 14:00 hours on Sundays and public holidays.
