The CV-MARQ Foundation has approved the Code of Ethics and Good Practice which lays down minimum standards of conduct and exercise of the profession for its workers. This initiative seeks to determine the values and basic principles on which the cultural work and guide the conduct of staff in all aspects of its activity.

As the deputy for Culture explainedCésar Augusto AsencioAt the Diputación de Alicante we aspire to the democratisation of culture and in this sense one of our main concerns is accessibility. Specifically, at the CV-MARQ Foundation we also have the social responsibility of preserving an important cultural heritage, conserving it and bringing it closer to the public, researching and extracting current meanings from it in order to transfer them to society from a didactic, diverse and plural perspective".

The Code of Ethics brings together the principles of performance and good practice that, from a responsible vision, govern individual and collective behaviour in the Foundation. These actions have been built up over the course of its history and revolve around concepts such as the integrity, transparency, honesty, elimination of physical and sensory barriers, and non-discrimination.The aim is to be an integrating element and to bring history and archaeology closer to society, promoting values such as respect, tolerance and diversity.

The CV-MARQ Foundation has made an effort in favour of the voluntary transparency and has a corporate website www.marqalicante.com which collects all the relevant information for the user about his or her visit, the collection and the programmed activitiesas well as on the management and operations of the Foundation.
