La CV MARQ Foundation has successfully passed the first follow-up audit for the Q for Tourist Quality achieved in 2018. In this way, the Alicante museum reinforces its commitment to excellence in the service provision and development which guarantees a successful visit in harmony with the environment.

The MARQ was the first of the 1,600 museums recognised in Spain to be awarded the Q for Quality. One year on from this recognition, and following the audit carried out, the Alicante museum has managed to maintain this distinction awarded by the Spanish State and managed by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE). The UNE 302002 standard is a firm commitment of the Secretary of State for Tourism of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism aimed at guaranteeing, facilitating and enriching the visitor's experience in our museums by providing prestige, differentiation, reliability, rigour and promotion.
