The president of the Institute of Nautical Archaeology of the University of Texas (USA) visits MARQ

Today, Tuesday 21st June, the MARQ Archaeological Museum of Alicante received a visit from Dr. Deborah Carlson (third from the left), president of the Institute of Nautical Archaeology of the University of Texas (USA), one of the most prestigious centres in the world in underwater archaeology and who is currently collaborating in the excavation of the wreck of the Sec (Mallorca).

Accompanied by UA professor José Antonio Moya (first on the left), she toured the technical installations and temporary and permanent exhibitions, where she was able to see the quality of the specialised services and the MARQ's heritage dissemination offer.
