The third edition of the MARQ+65 programme aimed at senior citizens is extended to the archaeological sites

 

 

    The Archaeological Museum of Alicante has presented the third edition of the project MARQ+65The initiative was developed with the 'Aulas de la tercera Edad de Alicante' (ASAUTE), which contributes to the cultural and social growth of the elderly. The rooms of the centre thus become a training space where they can get to know their nearest heritage through guided visits by the permanent and temporary exhibitions

   The new features of this course, which includes the Cajamar collaboration and in which there are thirty people registeredare the creation of experimental workshops of the topics covered, the visit to the Lucentum and Illeta dels Banyets sites, cultural routes through the old town of Alicante, talks about archaeozoology and heritageand, in addition, two practical classes.

   The opening day of the programme was attended by the managing director of the MARQ Foundation, José Alberto Cortésthe technical director of MARQ, Manuel Olcinathe Business Director of Cajamar in Alicante, David Ruiz de Rojasthe director of ASAUTE, Mariluz Sánchez and the teachers of the MARQ Educational Unit who will give the training talks. The sessions will take place on Fridays from October to June from 11:00 to 12:00.
