For three days, the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, its archaeological sites and the Almudaina Tower have joined in the celebrations that have been taking place all over the world to commemorate International Museum Day, with open days on Thursday 18th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May.
The public's response to the proposals programmed by the Marq, and integrated in the Alicante museum platform MUSEA, has been extraordinary: 2,458 people have visited us in these three days, in which children, young people and families have enjoyed guided tours, workshops, games and even a fun medieval photocall that has delighted young and old alike.
All of these activities are open to the groups that have been working with MARQ to make its museum and archaeological sites accessible and barrier-free, with the special collaboration of ASPANION and Down Alicante.
