Bird-shaped attic attic
Necropolis of Cabezo Lucero (Guardamar del Segura)
Small plastic vessel in the shape of a duck, with a rounded body, wings folded to the sides, a marked tail and a head with a spherical tendency inclined downwards and with the beak close to the body. On the lower part there is a base or small rectangular plinth with a flat bottom. An oblique, flared pouring spout starts at the end of the tail and the back of the bird, from which a vertical ribbon handle emerges and connects to the head. The paste is a fine orange-ochre-coloured paste with a small amount of lustre.
Decoration painted in black varnish indicating the animal's features in fine, precise strokes. On the wings, a series of parallel horizontal lines indicate the plumage, preceded by a vertical band of eggs and a palmette. Similarly, the details of the head, beak and eyes are also marked with strokes of the same varnish. Another band of ovals decorates the base.
