Members of the MARQ's Department of Exhibitions and Dissemination have been participating since yesterday in the Auditorium of the State Museum of Prehistory in Halle, Germany, in the second session of the cycle of conferences that the MARQ and the Landes Museum für Vorgeschichte of this city jointly organise and which had its first event last November 2017 in Alicante.
The conference, entitled New Perspectives on European Prehistory II, aims to provide an updated and comprehensive overview of the recent prehistory of the Iberian Peninsula and Central Europe, comparing the work dynamics of the research teams working in both areas of the European continent. Doctors Jorge A. Soler Díaz and Juan A. López Padilla, from MARQ, will offer European researchers an overview of current research into various aspects of the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age of the Southeast Iberian Peninsula. From the Spanish side, prehistory professors Javier Jover Maestre and Gabriel García Atiénzar from the University of Alicante, and Primitiva Bueno Ramírez, professor of prehistory at the University of Alcalá, will also take part.
